I first became acquainted with Peyton years
ago while stationed in Korea, when I read his first book, A
Bouncer's Guide to Barroom Brawling: Dealing With the Sucker Puncher,
Street Fighter, and Ambusher. There's a lot of valuable
information here, and I recognized the things he wrote about in the
bars I was hanging out in.
Since then, I've had the opportunity to meet
with Peyton, share ideas, view some of the videos he's made, and read
his second book, Real Fighting: Adrenaline Stress Conditioning
Through Scenario-Based Training. This book also has some valuable
information on the realities of fighting. I recommend both of these
books for the serious student of self-defense. Peyton's advice has
helped me more than a time or two.
