Hand-To-Hand Combat - U.S. Navy

Book Review by Alain Burrese

Collectors of close-quarters fighting books have reason to rejoice: Hand-to-Hand Combat is back in print.  Originally published by the U.S. Naval Institute in 1943, the sought-after text covers "commando tactics" that are as relevant today as they were during World War II.  The contents draw from jujutsu, boxing, wrestling and other arts to assemble a program composed of fighting fundamentals, front and rear attacks, kicking, search-and-control techniques, disarms and more.

Available from Paladin Press, the book sells for $25.  For more information, call Paladin Press at (800) 466-6868 or visit www.paladin-press.com.
