The Secret To Life Transformation by Julie Chrystyn - Review

I enjoyed Julie Chrystyn's "The Secret To Life Transformation: How To Claim Your Destiny Now!" I found it uplifting to read about how different people, in extremely different areas, transformed their lives by following the vision of where they wanted to be regardless of the circumstances they faced.

The book consists of stories of twelve different people, including Justice Clarence Thomas, David Foster, John Paul De Joria, Robert Evans, Jacqueline Jakes, Patch Adams, Judge Sol Wachtler, Paula White, Jose Eber, Steven M. Hoefflin, Paul Anka, and Bernie Brillstein. Along with each story, Chrystyn provides a short chapter and a lesson. These include messages such as "You - The Independent Thinker," "The Law Of Thought And Supply," and "Words That Build Your World."

I found the book to be inspirational. I enjoy reading about and learning of people that have overcome obstacles and have succeeded despite challenges and circumstances that might have seemed to be against them. Reading this book can instill an attitude of "If they can do it, so can I!"

Reading this book, it becomes quite apparent that Chrystyn's Christian faith has been a cornerstone of her success. The book contains numerous biblical references. If that offends you, this book may not be for you. If you share Chrystyn's belief, this book will most likely make a larger impact because the biblical quotes are easy to relate to things you may be experiencing yourself. Before those who don't share these beliefs dismiss this book, I want to point out that Chrystyn uses the quotations to support her positive message, not in an attempt to change the readers religious beliefs or faith. It's an obvious fact that many successful people credit their faith as an important ingredient in achieving that success. I feel Chrystyn was being true to herself and her faith by including the biblical passages she used to support her message.

Will you find the nuts and bolts of writing out an action list of steps to achieve your goals from this book? No. It's not that kind of book. Is it a roadmap to transform your life and claim your destiny now? Not really. So why read it? Read it for the inspirational message that perseverance will overcome the obstacles and challenges you face. To become successful in any endeavor, you must not give up. You cannot quit and succeed.

I believe in continuously filling my mind and life with positive messages. I read uplifting and educational materials and listen to educational and motivational audio programs each day. While this was not my favorite motivational and inspirational book, it certainly helps inspire and keep one's focus on the positive. I enjoyed the stories, and believe you can't help but think when reading them, "If they can do that, I can do it too!"
